Every Freaking Day with Rachell Ray BookAuthor: Elizabeth Hilts
Release Date: September 3, 2008
Publisher: Grand Central Publishing
Purchase: Amazon for $10.39

When you look at the cover of Every Freaking! Day with Rachell Ray you should be prepared to be shocked. Elizabeth Hilts and Grand Central Publishing managed to find a model that was an absolute dead ringer for Rachael Ray. Whether you like Ray or not you have to admit that she is one of the most recognizable celebrity chefs around these days.

In the good old days, when Ray was just getting rolling in the celebrity world, she just had numerous Food Network television shows. After a friendship blossomed with Oprah, Ray took a page out of the Oprah playbook and was introducing a magazine (with her face on every single cover) and a television show that blends celebrity, human interest stories, and cooking all in one.

Saying Ray gets on some people’s nerves could be an understatement, but Every Freaking! Day with Rachell Ray is not about laughing at the bold, brash Italian chef. It is merely parodying the things that make the chef so well known. For instance, are you a fan of 30 minute meals? If you aren’t because you think 30 minutes will take too long, you might just appreciate Rachell’s 30 second meals. Of course, you might want to avoid using this as a cookbook. Even if the recipes were edible, which I highly doubt they are, (some of the burgers are hilariously frightening) they would probably kill you unless you only at once a week. You’d still be risking it though, even then.
