1. Check this out—another new book from me, Rachell Ray! I know what you’re thinking: “How does this woman sleep at night?” The answer is: Just fine, thanks.

2. People ask me all the time how they can get a fabulous life like mine. My response? Dream a dream, ‘cause it ain’t gonna happen. I mean, what are the odds of there being two Rachell Rays?

3. Hey, kids! Here’s a time saving tip just for you: Any word can be shortened if you just use the first letters of it. Like this sentence; it could have been “AWCBSIYJUTFLOI.” Just remember to explain what the initials mean.

4. I’m not a decorator; I’m just a cook. But one thing I know for sure is this—whether it’ your new line of cookware or the décor theme for your talk show studio, pick one color and stick with it. I like orange.

5. Hey, kids! To save valuable time, use disposable plates, cups and cutlery. At the end of the meal just sweep everything on the table into a giant garbage bag and you are good to go! And if your “green” friends complain, remind those freeloaders who’s footin’ the bill.

After a brief hiatus Ashtyn’s Home Cookin’ will be receiving regular updates once again. We had some unfortunate server issues and had to move to a more stable server provider, but now that things are all set up you can expect regular posts filled with reviews, recipes, food talk, and contests!
