You’d be surprised how long it takes to eat 12 large, gooey pretzels that are stuffed with utter deliciousness. Sure, I shared them with my family, but they were still so big that two of them could fill both Ash and I up if we split them. I’m not a big fan of bread, but I do love warm, gooey pretzels. I especially like to dip my original pretzels in creamy cheese, I guess that’s why my very favorite pretzel in this 12 pack was the Grilled Cheese. Filled with ooey gooey cheese from the center of the pretzel outward this delectable treat has won me over.

If I had to rank them by favorites, the order would go something like this:

I can tell you that I don’t like eggs. Hey, I’m picky. I know it’s weird, but the Stuffed Twisted Omelette was destined to be down on my list merely because I don’t like eggs or omelettes. The stuffed Pizza pretzel had too much sauce and very little cheese. It would have been nice to have some small pieces of pepperoni, sausage or mushrooms added. The sourdough asiago was pretty good, but I’d have liked more cheesiness with some asiago stuffed inside. Otherwise, this pretzel was good. I really liked everything on my list above those three, and the Grilled Cheese and the Chocolate Crumb (I’m a chocolate fiend) are by far the best two in the bunch.
The Spinach and Feta pretzel was deliciously blended with feta cheese and spinach. The herb and cream cheese was similarly blended. I liked both of them enough to want to purchase them individually. I think the Cinnamon Roll was exceptionally delicious and the Original Bavarian went quite well when it was dipped in delectable melted cheese. It was really hard to say I disliked any of the pretzels. I felt there were way too many pieces of jalapeños in the cheese and jalapeño pretzel, but it was good otherwise. The others were good, but I’m not sure if I’d want to eat them consistently.
The nice thing about this variety pack is it let me know which of the pretzels I truly enjoyed the most. There are many flavors and I’ve never had gourmet stuffed pretzels, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. While this isn’t something most people will buy every time they purchase pretzels from Kim and Scott’s Gourmet Pretzels, it is a good introduction to the various flavors they offer. Overall, I’m very glad we had the chance to try Kim and Scott’s Gourmet Pretzels Original Variety Pack. I’ll certainly be checking out the Grilled Cheese, the Chocolate Crumb and some of their other pretzel packs in the future.
