I don’t know if you’ve tried Simply Limeade or any of the “Simply” brand of juices, but if you haven’t you really should try them. I started out with the Orange because that’s all they had in the stores here. A few months ago, Apple came out and after trying it, I was hooked. I swear, all I drank was Apple Juice for a week.
Next came the Lemonade and Limeade. I have been switching those on and off as the weather has become warmer. I love the fresh, homemade taste of both, though lately the Limeade has been in my refrigerator more than the Lemonade.
Last night I was making dinner and spied some Cranberry juice next to the Limeade. I’m a huge Cranberry juice lover though Dominick is not as big a fan as I am. He likes it (so he says) though often complains of that strong Cranberry kick that comes with it. So, I decided to put the two together.
The Cranberry Juice was just a basic store brand. I placed it in one of my favorite glasses, about 1/3 full and topped it off with the Simply Limeade. I’ve had three or four glasses. This morning I added a couple of splashes of Simply Orange to the concoction for my breakfast. Needless to say, I knew it would be good, but the Simply Limeade makes it taste unbelievably fresh and delicious. Not only that, but Dominick likes it because it cuts out the bite of the cranberry.
Unfortunately, for me, I’ve run out of Limeade and I’m about to run out of Cranberry, too. I guess this means I will be running to the store tomorrow. In the meantime, when I need something to drink I have to pick a second choice, though nothing sounds quite as good as my new favorite, summertime drink.

Ashtyn’s Cranberry Limeade Delight
1 glass
Cranberry Juice (any brand)
Simply Limeade
Simply Orange
Ice (optional)
Directions: Take your glass and if you want it extra cold, add the ice. Start out by taking a bottle of cranberry juice and fill the glass 1/3 of the way. Put in two splashes of orange juice (I recommend Simply Orange). Fill the glass the rest of the way with Limeade. Stir or swish the glass to mix the flavors.
Note: Depending on how much cranberry flavor you want feel free to add more or less than I suggested. You can also make it with lemonade as opposed to limeade though I recommend Simply Lemonade if you go this route.
