Food Network Premieres “Chic & Easy” With Host Mary Nolan
Brand New Episodes of “Throwdown” and “Iron Chef America” Debut During May’s “Thrill of the Grill Week!”

CHIC & EASY

Whether it’s a ladies-only soiree, a posh picnic, or big movie night, Mary Nolan proves that successful entertaining results from mouth-watering menus and stylish, welcoming atmospheres. Every Sunday at 10:30 AM ET/PT, her exciting twists on the traditional will create entertaining delights like Stilton-Stuffed Dates, Sweet and Smoky Popcorn, and Chocolate Cheesecake Cupcakes with Ganache Frosting. TEAM BONDING BRUNCH
Premieres: Sunday, May 18th at 10:30AM
What better way to connect than over a blissful brunch complete with a variety of delicious dishes? Mary cooks up a Riviera Egg Pie complimented by a fresh Minted Fruit Salad. Then, her lip-smacking Chocolate Cheesecake Cupcakes With Ganache Frosting really hit the spot. To add a spicy twist to her brunch (and her name), Mary concocts some of her signature Terry’s Bloody Marys.

IT’S LADIES NIGHT, OH WHAT A NIGHT

With style and spice, Mary prepares a Ladies Night menu fit for a queen. From Crispy Curried Coconut Shrimp to Spicy Cocktail Meatballs and flavorful Stilton-Stuffed Dates, snacking with gal pals never tasted so good. THRILL OF THE GRILL WEEK

Food Network takes the cooking outdoors with a big night of grilling greatness including a premiere Food Network Challenge: World Championship BBQ Cookoff at 8PM, a premiere Bobby Flay episode of Iron Chef America at 9PM and an all-new hour-long Throwdown with Bobby Flay at 10PM. “Thrill of the Grill Week” then continues all week long with premiere episodes from Good Eats, Diner’s Drive-ins and Dives, Dinner: Impossible, Paula’s Party, Tyler’s Ultimate, Guy’s Big Bite, Jamie at Home, Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee, Paula’s Home Cooking, Down Home with the Neelys, 30 Minute Meals, Rescue Chef, Everyday Italian, Simply Delicioso, Essence of Emeril and Chic and Easy.

THROWDOWN WITH BOBBY FLAY: REMATCH ON THE GRILL
Premieres: Sunday, May 25th at 10PM
Bobby Flay has lots of Throwdown experience, but can anything really prepare him to take on three former Throwdown competitors in an all-against-one rematch? In this special one-hour installment of the Throwdown series, all-stars Butch Lupinetti (BBQ), Delilah Winder (Mac-n-Cheese), and Nigel Spence (Jerk Ribeye) join forces in sun-splashed Miami. The focus is on grilling, as each side must master a menu of Pork Tenderloin, Whole Fish, and Vegetable Skewers in front of a live audience. This show is full of surprises – including a mystery guest – that will keep everyone on their toes and under pressure. It’s “grill or go home” on Throwdown’s biggest episode!

IRON CHEF AMERICA
The heat is intense in Kitchen Stadium as Iron Chef America continues with brand new episodes, pitting the American Iron Chefs against fierce new competitors.

IRON CHEF AMERICA: FLAY vs. IACOVONE
Premieres: Sunday, May 25th at 9PM
New Orleans Chef Bob Iacovone enters Kitchen Stadium to take on Iron Chef Bobby Flay. Will this celebrated Chef walk away with victory, or succumb to defeat by the hands of Iron Chef Flay?

FOOD NETWORK CHALLENGE
Each month, Food Network gets the competitive juices flowing with Food Network Challenge, bringing viewers the biggest and most exciting food battles from around the world. With bragging rights and a $10,000 cash prizes on the line, this month’s challenges include:

CHALLENGE: THE REMATCH - FANTASY FRUIT SCULPTOR
Premieres: Sunday, May 18th at 8PM
In the original “Fantasy Fruit Sculpture” competition, four of the world’s best fruit sculptors squared off in Hawaii and a construction worker-turned culinary student took home the $10,000 prize. Now his more experienced competitors have returned to the Challenge stage to take him down by transforming every-day produce into stunning works of art. “Tropical Treasures” is the theme as the competition heads to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where fruit and sparks are sure to fly.

CHALLENGE: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BBQ COOK-OFF
Premieres: Sunday, May 25th at 8PM
The stage is set in Memphis, Tennessee for one of the world’s most prestigious barbecue contests with over 250 teams competing in three categories: shoulder, ribs and whole hog. If they can beat out the other competitors in their category they’ll win $3,000 and have a shot at the Grand Prize of $22,000. Challenge follows along with returning Grand Champions, The Red Hot Smokers in the shoulder category, two-time Grand Champion Myron Mixon in the whole hog category and newcomers The Killer Hogs in the ribs category in their quests to take home the world prize in barbecue.
